Applied to: ZWCAD 2018, ZWCAD 2017
Issue:
In the first time to open ZWCAD, there will be a File association dialog box appearing as follows:
If tick the "Remember the choice and do not show this message again", the next time to open ZWCAD, this dialog box will not appear anymore. And currently users cannot change it back from the Options in ZWCAD or other places.
Solution:
Users can make it appear again from modifying Registry.
(1) Close ZWCAD, then Run and input Regedit to open Registry, locate to HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\.dwg, and change the .dwg value as any other value, for example:
(2) Locate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\ZWSOFT\ZWCAD\<201x>\<Language>\Profiles\Default\Config, file the FILETYPEASSOC, and change the value to 1 from 2;
(3) Open ZWCAD again, the File Association dialog box will appear.
