Issue:
I open ZWCAD program, and then, while the program is opened, I try to load previously saved file through the Windows File Explorer (instead of using "Open" command in the ZWCAD program itself).
The problem is, that the loaded file opens not in the already launched ZWCAD instance, but first, for some reason, it launches the new instance and then the file opens there, while the first ZWCAD instance remain empty. It lowers computers performance.
Cause:
The default app to open DWG files has not set ZWCAD， or some system variable was changed by accident.
Solutions:
You can try this two solutions as below:
- Please try to execute SDI system variable and set the value to "0";
- Please try to set ZWCAD as the default .dwg files association to open：
- Right click on any dwg files → Properties → General → Change → choose "ZWCAD.exe" → click "OK"
