Issue:
some users may have encountered the problem like this when opening the software, it shows the error like this:
The application was unable to start correctly (0xc000007b), Click OK to close this application.
Cause:
The reason for this problem is that there is maybe some lack of the necessary function library like DirectX and VC++ on your computer. If yes, uninstall it first.
Solution:
1. First, check whether there is VC successfully installed in this computer from the control panel. If yes, uninstall it first
2. Unzip ZWCAD installer, and install the VC 2010 manually as below figure shown (2022 is just for example), after installed, then check in the control panel, make sure the VC 2010 is installed successfully. Then if problem remains, you can go to next step.
If the first try doesn't solve the issue, then please download this DirectX Repair tool to fix the error, it would automatically check and repair all the necessary function library.
There is already an instruction in the package, please read it carefully before you use this tools. It provides both in Chinese and English version.

If you are using V4.0, just run the file: DirectX Repair.exe
If you are using V3.7, run the following file according to different OS, and make sure below setting is ticked.

For normal use, just open the tools and press the "Check and repair" button, then the program will do the rest automatically.

Tip: this issue happens more on 64bit version, if customer encounters this issue, they can also try to install 32bit, normally it should be ok to start ZWCAD and can be used normally.
