For some specific drawings, after you finish all the settings, then you choose boundaries through " pick points " or " select objects", but the hatch pattern never show up.
The reason is as below. You need to go to options--display--check the box "apply solid fill "
This box was defaut checked when a new file was created. But if you uncheck it, it will save by files.
