Apply to: ZWCAD 2017; ZWCAD Classic; ZWCAD 2015
Customer may have ZWCAD and other product service on the same server (like AutoCAD), in order to avoid confliction between ZWCAD service and other product’s service, please set different service ports for them.
Step 1: Check which port ID is other product’s service using.
In the LMTools of other product’s, find the location of the LOG file.
As following:
Open the LOG file, search “lmgrd tcp-port”, then you can see which port ID is other product’s service using.
Here in the image, it shows “27000”.
Step 2: decide a different port ID ( during 27000 to 27009 ), for ZWCAD+ service
For example, other product’s port is 27000, then you decide 27001 for ZWCAD+ service.
So please firstly confirm with customer’s IT department, that the port 27001 is available, and not blocked by their Fire Wall.
Step 3: Before next operation, please firstly stop both ZWCAD+ and other product’s service.
Step 4:
Find the file “LicenseFile.lic” ( in C:\Program Files\ZWSOFT\ZWCAD+ 2014 Network License Manager ENU )
Open the file, add following text and save:
SERVER this_host ANY 27001
VENDOR zwflex OPTIONS=zwflex.opt
USE_SERVER
Step 5:
Right click desktop icon My Computer, choose Management -> Service and Applications -> Service, you can find many services in it.
Find the name of ZWCAD+’s service and other products’ service, then start them again.
Note:
1) In Step 5, do not try to start service by LMTOOLS. That may not work.
2) You can confirm Service Name from:
Besides, please also let us know those products’ LMTOOLS version, by following operation you can find the version information:
In the installation directory of ZWCAD Network License Manager, find item LMTOOLS.exe -> right click check Properties.
In the installation directory of other products’ LMTOOLS, find item LMTOOLS.exe -> right click check Properties.
Then please tell us the Product Version of them.
