In ZWCAD, there are some hidden options that are very useful, here is from for object snapping.
Here is an example to show a use case:

We do not need to know how long between point C and D, but we can stretch the right side to meet the CD distance to a specified value, let's say 3000.
Detail steps:
- Run S (stretch), crossing select from right to left to includes B E D, Enter.
- Specify D as the base point of stretch
- Input FROM
- Specify C as the base point for SNAP FROM
- Input the specified value 3000 as the distance for CD
