It is a mechanism of current FLEXTNET technology that, after STOP and START service again, borrowed nodes are subtracted from the display total quantities.
According to R&D, this issue cannot be improved for the time being, the only solution is to find out the computer who borrowed the licenses and return them back manually or wait to be expired. After that, when you restart the service, the missing nodes will be back.
For example:
There are total 3 nodes, 1 node is borrowed and 2 nodes are floating.
However without having the borrowed node back, the customer stops and restarts service in the LMTools. After that, the customer finds that in the Network License Manager and the LMTools Status Enquiry the quantities change form 3 to 2, and the record of borrowing disappears from the LMTools and the log file.
But the borrowed node is still working on the client computer.
