Customer have some DWG files exported from Microstation, which may contain many useless objects, as a result, the size of file is very big. We can the reduce the file size with attached tool.
1. Open the drawing and execute APPLOAD to load the tool.
2. Execute command DGNPURGE, done.
With the attached tool, we can export layout objects to DWG files, it means that we can use layout objects in model space.
How to do it:
1, Switch to layout space
2, APPLOAD to load the attached tool
3, Execute command EXPORTLAYOUT
4, Specify the path and file name, done.
