When the name of blocks in current drawing are the same as that in tool palettes, in AutoCAD, we could right click the block in tool palettes and click the “redefine” option then you could refresh the block definition of current drawing so that it could match the block in tool palettes. That’s means you can replace the blocks with the same name by the blocks in tools palettes.
In ZWCAD, there is no such function, as a workaround, customer needs to do following steps.
- Rename the blocks in the current drawing
- Insert the block with the same name in the current drawing
- Use "BlockReplace" command to replace the blocks in the drawing with the block from tool palettes
- Delete the insert block instance from tool palettes
